Come Together with Us to Celebrate Ten Years of Dreams, Resilience, and Community!
Join us for a retrospective evening highlighting the last ten years of work we've accomplished and community we've built and be an opportunity for our supporters to make a direct impact on the lives of those we serve.
Attendees of the gala will hear from advocates, community leaders, and clients on the frontlines of immigration issues and learn how policies in Washington and state capitals directly affect immigrant communities in New Mexico and along the El Paso/Ciudad Juárez border. The event will celebrate both the past decade and SFDP’s continued commitment to providing life-changing legal services, with all proceeds supporting future initiatives, including direct representation, community education, and advocacy. Each ticket will include a plated dinner and one free drink ticket (access to cash bar available all evening but the first one is on us)
The Lumpkins Ballroon at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico
Gala will start at 6:30pm with cocktails
Dinner will be served at 7pm
$50,000 would be transformative for Santa Fe Dreamers Project, significantly strengthening our capacity to serve New Mexico’s immigrant communities. This funding would enable us to take on more urgent cases, ensuring that individuals and families receive timely and life-changing legal support. It would allow us to enhance our community education programs, empowering not just allies but also local immigrants with the knowledge and tools to protect their rights. Additionally, these resources would strengthen our advocacy efforts, amplifying the voices of those most impacted by unjust policies and advancing systemic change. Ultimately, this investment would directly impact our ability to strengthen our resources while ramping up to respond to the upcoming administrations’ proposed attacks on immigration policy.
About us:
Santa Fe Dreamers Project is a community-driven organization dedicated to upholding the dignity and rights of immigrants in New Mexico through legal services, advocacy, and education. We envision a future where the immigration system is founded on principles of justice, equity, and liberation. With a deep commitment to dignity, abolition, racial and gender justice, equity, and liberation, we work tirelessly to ensure that immigrant voices are empowered and heard.
Our services include direct legal support in areas like DACA, asylum, and humanitarian visas, along with community education initiatives, such as Know Your Rights programs. We also engage in policy advocacy, legislative efforts, impact litigation, and media outreach to create systemic change. Serving primarily Spanish-speaking, BIPOC, low-income immigrant families—particularly women and children from Latin America—we are proud to offer culturally competent and accessible services.
Operating with a 99% success rate in cases, we are a trusted resource in New Mexico, with offices in Santa Fe and Albuquerque and remote services that reach across the state. Our work not only addresses essential legal needs but also fosters long-lasting empowerment and transformation for immigrant communities.
